TICKETS Gates to the Stadium open at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are required. Each candidate is entitled to five guest tickets. In order to receive tickets, candidates must complete the Ceremony Attendance Form on the SOLAR System. The deadline for completing this form on the SOLAR System is May 9, 2008. Tickets guarantee entrance to the Stadium, but specific seats cannot be reserved. Candidate Line Up & Seating Sections Ticket Distribution for the Main Ceremony: Each candidate who completes the ceremony attendance form on the SOLAR System is eligible for up to five tickets. Candidates must pick up their tickets from their departmental representatives from May 15 to May 20. Candidates must show current identification. If tickets are not picked up during this period of time, you will automatically forfeit your tickets. Commencement Festival lunch distribution will be for graduates in cap and gown and guests with a Main Ceremony ticket stub. Special lunch tickets will be available at the information booth between 11:30 a.m. and Noon only for graduates and guest not attending the Main Ceremony. A Graduate in academic attire can obtain these tickets (limit of two tickets per graduate). Baccalaureate Honors Convocation This event is by invitation only. Invitations will be mailed to candidates graduating with distinction of cum laude, magna cum laude, and summa cum laude as well as those who have been elected to either Phi Beta Kappa or Tau Beta Pi honor societies. Tickets are required for this ceremony and the number of tickets will depend on the number of invited candidates who respond that they will attend. Unclaimed Tickets Departments and schools will give out any unclaimed tickets at their discretion. Check with your departmental representative for specific information on times, days, and location of unclaimed ticket distribution.
