E-Mail (Sparky & Lotus Notes) Your Lotus Notes & Sparky account (including email account & web space) will be deactivated at the end of the incompletion period, the last day of removing incomplete grades, of the first semester you are not registered. Deactivation means you will not be able to log into your account, but it still exists and you can set up forwarding so that you can continue to receive your e-mail. The semester after your account is deactivated, it will be deleted if you do not return to Stony Brook. It is very important that you enable mail forwarding for your e-mail so you can continue to receive e-mail while notifying friends/family/potential employers of their new e-mail address. For information on how you can enable mail forwarding and save e-mails you receive, visit: http://tlt.stonybrook.edu/helpdesk/docs/leavingsbu.pdf or contact the student helpdesk at: 631-632-9602 or e-mail: helpme@ic.sunysb.edu Net ID/Access to MySBFiles/Library Databases/Dial up service You will be unable to access your MySBFiles 200 days after you are no longer an active student as your NetID is deleted. Alumni Accounts Alumni should also know that the Alumni association offers an Alumni connections account, for more information visit: https://www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/STO/homepage.cgi |
